How we process your order

We would like to explain what we do when you place an order on our website. We hope you find this informative and useful. If you have any questions, want to confirm any details or want to know anything, please call or email us. We like to talk.

We treat every order and enquiry we receive with the same high level of importance, and we value the fact that you want to use Speedflow. Customer service, giving our best advice, being polite and delivering your order promptly are all very important factors and an important part of our business.

This is what happens to your order.

Order Confirmation
Immediately you purchase online we will email you with an order confirmation, this is automatically generated.
At our office your order is printed out and checked to ensure we have all the necessary details. From time to time we receive orders that we like to talk through with the customer. An example may be an order for hose ends that are -8 AN and hose that is -10 AN, we would call just to be sure the customer hasn't requested the wrong size. 

Preparing your Goods
Everything you purchase from Speedflow is picked and then inspected prior to packing. The goods are  doubled checked against your order a second time before they are packed.

We pride ourselves with the way we pack all items for despatch. Our packing cartons are fully lined with corrugated card and every item is either boxed or bagged within this carton. Cut hose and any items that are heavy or have sharp edges will also be wrapped to ensure no damage to other items can occur. Any void within the carton is filed with polystyrene chips. The cartons are sealed with Speedflow packing tape. Small items will be packed in a padded envelope.

On line orders:

If you are paying with a debit/credit card we will only take payment after we have processed your order and it is ready for dispatch or prior to hose being cut to length. This is usually just before the package is sealed and on the day of dispatch to the delivery service.
When you enter your payment information at the checkout your card is not debited at that time but merely 'pre-authorised'. The information is held on a secure server in an encrypted format. Speedflow does not have access to individual card details, just the authority to confirm the 'pre authorised' amount.

If you are paying via PayPal, you will be covered and protected by their regulations.  Should your order be amended to first class post, a refund will be processed to your PayPal account.

Phone orders:

Once we have processed your payment the card information is not stored.  Speedflow does not record or keep card payment information.

The vast majority of orders are processed and dispatched the same day. In some instances we may not have stock of an item; this is a rare occurrence as we stock thousands of parts and fittings and in high volumes on fast moving parts, but does sometimes occur. Should this happen we will contact you at the earliest opportunity to confirm the delivery schedule. No payment will have been taken from your card at this time.

Our deliveries are next working day, weekday. We can arrange Saturday deliveries or time sensitive deliveries with ease, please call to discuss as these normally cost more.

Delivery Monitoring
Everything we dispatch will require a signature upon delivery. Please ensure someone will be available to receive the goods.
We monitor all deliveries to ensure they reach the destination. If we are contacted by our courier to tell us a parcel could not be delivered we will call the customer to inform him/her of the attempted delivery.
