The two-ball valves are open to atmosphere so vapour can collect inside the vehicle. All installation should be piped to the outside of the vehicle or connected to a charcoal canister. The best way for tarmac vehicles is to run the pipe to the top of the body an then down to a point just below the base of the tank. The valves should be positioned as close as possible to the rear of the tank so that under breaking the fuel load will move towards the front of the tank and away from the valve.
Mounting hole 9/16". Access to the inside of the tank is required for installation or a threaded fitting could be welded to the tank. NOTE - We ONLY advise welding threaded fitting to fuel tank if they are new and are totally free from any fuel contamination.
