Facet Solid State, unlike the other Facet cylindrical pumps, does not have an in-built fiter. Facet recommend a filter is installed on the inlet side of this pump. This can be purchased as a seperate item (Part no.533-F1 is a samll filter or 533-F2 is a large filter) or can be purchased as part of the boxed kit.

As with all pumps the Facet should be mounted as low and as near to the fuel tank. All pumps are more efficient when pushing and not pulling the fuel.
