Facet 'Red' has built in filter rated at 74 microns. This is a fine filter, the Facet 'Blue' has a less restrictive filter rated at 400 microns.

As with all pumps the Facet should be mounted as low and as near to the fuel tank. All pumps are more efficient when pushing and not pulling the fuel.
